    I’m having trouble configuring a unilevel comp plan correctly

    I would like for the plan to be as follows:

    1. 3 levels deep
    2. All Primary affiliates referrals go to their level 1 and never (under) another a sub affiliate.
    3. Commission percentages:
    20% for level 1 (Affiliate A)
    20% for level 2 (Affiliate B)
    40% for level 3 (Affiliate C)

    So it will pay accordingly

    When primary refers affiliate A, they receive 20%.
    When Affiliate A refers Affiliate B, Primary gets level 1 (20%) plus level 2 (20%)… B will receive level one (20%)

    When Affiliate B refers Affiliate C
    Primary gets level 1 (20%) plus level 2 (20%) plus level 3 (40%)

    Affiliate A would get Level 1 (20%) plus level 2 (20%)

    Affiliate B would get level 1 (20%).

    Also these are monthly recurring.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Lewtam,

    Sorry for the delay.

    For a Unilevel structure, your Structure/Matrix Settings should look like this:

    Forced Matrix = Disabled
    Width = 0
    Depth = 3 (Allows 3 Levels of Sub Affiliates for each Parent – Affiliates A, B and C below)
    Cycles = 1
    Total Depth = Disabled

    I’m a bit unclear on your commissions rates though. Are you saying that your want the Primary Affiliate to receive the Indirect Referral Commissions for each Level, instead of it going to the correct Parent Affiliate on that Level?

    The way that MLM is designed to work is like this example:

    Primary Affiliate refers Affiliate A, Primary Affiliate receives a 20% Direct Referral Commission. (Assuming your Direct Referral Rate is set to 20% in Affiliates > Settings > General)

    Affiliate A refers Affiliate B, Affiliate A receives a 20% Direct Referral Commission, and Primary Affiliate receives a 20% Indirect Referral Commission. (Assuming your Per Level Rates are set to 20% for Level 1)

    Affiliate B refers Affiliate C, Affiliate B receives a 20% Direct Referral Commission, and Affiliate A receives a 20% Indirect Referral Commission, and Primary Affiliate receives a 10% Indirect Referral Commission. (Assuming your Per Level Rates are set to 20% for Level 1, and 10% for Level 2).

    And so on . . .

    Is this what you are trying to do?

    Also, regarding the Recurring Referrals add-on, please ensure that you disable the Recurring Rate, and the same for Lifetime Commissions, disable the Lifetime Rate, as these will override your Indirect Rates in MLM.

    Yes your description of the breakdown is correct except when Affiliate B sales to Affiliate C, the Primary Affiliate will receive 40% of the sale. But I believe I should just have to change the level 2 percentage from 10% to 40%.

    Also my language may be off when referring to affiliates “referring”. I only want commissions to be generated when someone purchases a monthly recurring membership and not just simply for signing up new affiliates who haven’t purchased the membership.

    The membership is a monthly recurring so I would need to make sure the proper commissions are triggered every month. Would I need to have the recurring enabled for this to happen?

    Yes, that’s right. Changing the Level 2 amount to 40% would work for you.

    And yes you are right about the commissions only being based on referred membership/subscription sales, not just for Sub Affiliate signups.

    Yes, you would need to ensure that you have Recurring Referrals enabled, just don’t enable the Recurring Rate (Set it to 0 if needed). As long as Recurring Referrals are enabled, MLM will automatically generate the Upline Parent commissions for each membership payment.
