    MLM not properly tracking commissions.

I must be missing something but I have tried different settings and configurations but still not getting the plugin to track properly.

I have tried both Upline basis configs but still not getting commissions to track up

    I have 3 levels
    Direct 20% (Affiliate A)
    level 1 20% (Affiliate B)
    level 2 40% (Affiliate C)

    Direct commissions are tracking properly.

    For ex.

When Affiliate C makes a sale, he gets his 20% BUT for some reason Affiliate B isn’t awarded his 20% and Affiliate A doesn’t receive his 40%.

    I’ve attached my setting below.

    Hi there,

Which of the supported integrations do you have enabled in MLM (WooCommerce, Paid Memberships Pro, etc.)? You need to enable one of those integrations in the MLM tab, in order for Indirect Referrals to be created.

Also, you should use Parent as the Upline Basis.

Your Lifetime Commissions settings should have Lifetime Referral Rates disabled. This is because, if you don’t, it will override your Indirect Referral Rates.

I have the memberpress integration enabled. Sorry, doesn’t look like the screenshots came through for the general settings or mlm settings.

I will check the lifetime referral rates and make sure I have them disabled and check back if problems still exist. Thank you

Do you have the MemberPress integration enabled in the Integrations Tab of the AffiliateWP Settings?

You need to have it enabled there, in order for the core AffiliateWP plugin to create the Direct Referral. Then, MLM creates the Indirect Referrals for the Upline Parent Affiliates.

Yes it is enabled. It creates the direct referral but the indirects are not being created.

Indirect referrals are still not being created.

I have the memberpress plugin enabled in the integrations tab and it is crediting the direct referral BUT the indirect referrals are still NOT being credited.

Lifetime referral rates are disabled as suggested earlier. Also recurring referrals are set properly.

Thank you for taking the time to help me resolve this issue.

    Hi Lewtam,

The fact that the Direct Referral is functioning properly means that the issue lies within the MemberPress integration of the MLM plugin itself.

I’m reviewing the MemberPress code now to see if they’ve made any major changes in a recent update.

Thanks for reporting this. I’ll follow up again soon with an update.

Tested but now it seems as though I’m not getting the Directs nor Indirects commissions to track now.

    Alright,

I’m going to try to duplicate the issue in my testing environment now.

Then, I’ll be able to identify the source of the issue and apply a fix.

I’ll follow up again soon with an update.

Lewtam, can you show me what your MLM settings look like? It may just be that your Matrix/Structure settings are not configured properly.

If you could provide me with admin-level login credentials for your site, I can investigate this quickly and more thoroughly.

If so, please be sure to mark your reply as Private, or send it to me via Private Message.

    Hi Lewtam,

I was able to login successfully and review things further.

I see that you have a lot of other AffiliateWP add-ons active as well. It may be some sort of plugin conflict.
Can you please deactivate all other AffiliateWP plugins except for AffiiateWP and MLM? We need to rule out the possibility of a plugin conflict.

    Thanks

Alright, I disabled the MemberPress integration for MLM. I also checked the Referrals list, and I don’t see any referrals at all. I want to ensure that the Direct Referral is being created.

Can you run another test, and let me know?

I see the Direct Referral for Test 7 (order 173). I also see an Indirect Referral for Test 7 (order 175). However, there should be a Direct Referral for Test 8 (order 175) as well. Usually, MLM can’t even create the Indirect Referral unless the Direct Referral exists.

Did you delete the Direct Referral for order 175 by any chance? Please, don’t delete any of these referrals right now, so we can see exactly what’s going on.

Can you run another test using the referral link of Test9?

    Thanks

Oh wait, now I see the Direct Referral and all of the Indirect Referrals for order 175.

But the commission amount is $0 for the Indirect Commissions. Let’s find out why.

Can you please provide me with the link/address to the page you are using to sign up for the Insider Success Academy Monthly membership?

Also, can you please provide the Stripe Test payment details you are using to test?

I’m going to run a few tests myself on your site, and make the necessary adjustments to fix the commission amount.

Thanks for your patience with this.

For clarity sake on commission levels

    20% – Direct
    20% – Indirect
    40% – Indirect

Only a total of 80% should be paid out in all. Not for certain if I had this part configured correctly after I went back through some of the documentation looks like I might have it configured right now to give out 100%.

Regarding the commission levels, you are correct, it was setup to payout 100%. I’ve updated it to remove Level 3 in the Per-Level Rates, set Level 2 to 40, and the Depth is now set to 2.

    I’ll follow-up soon.
