i think it could be my AffiliateWP MLM settings issue, currently mine is :
Forced Matrix – yes
Initial Width – 999 (this was supposed to be unlimited)
Depth – 999 (supposedly unlimited because i want each affiliate to see the maximum depth in their network tree)
Extra Branches – 999
Cycles – 999
Total Depth – no
what i try to achieve is :
anyone who refers a sub-affiliate, this sub-affiliate will always placed on his Level 1 (unlimited, no spillovers)
any sub-affiliates who refers a new sub-affiliate, this new sub-affiliate will also be placed in their Level 1 only.
so the Ranks that i set for Affiliate A is , he can get 10% referral from his own account purchase, 5% from any sales coming from his Level 1. that’s all
but if there’s anyone from Level 2 who makes a purchase, Affiliate A still receives e-mail and commission alert that he’s getting RM0.00
for your info: some sub-affiliates can have different ranks, such as Own Referral = 8%, Sales from Level 1 = 3%, Sales from Level 2 = 2%
literally, why AffiliateWP MLM still notifies or records RM0.00 referrals? this should be ignored and not shown.

If you want to create a Unilevel Structure (Unlimited Width), you simply uncheck the Forced Matrix setting. A Forced Matrix (Fixed Width) is the opposite of the Unilevel that you are trying to create.
You should then, set Extra Branches to the default (0), and Cycles to 1. You do have to set a value for the Depth, because this is what tells the system how many Levels of Sub Affiliates to allow each Parent to have. You can set it to a high number like 99, as you’ve done.
You can enable the “Ignore Referrals with Zero Amount” setting in Affiliates > Settings > Misc. This will prevent those $0 amount referrals from being created, which will stop the notification from being sent.

After reviewing your site, I see what’s happening here. You created a Rank called “No Commission”, and you set the Indirect Referral Rate for Level 1 to 0 for the No Commission Rank. And the affiliate that you are using to test the Indirect Referral Commission for Level 1 (Nicsport) has the No Commission Rank. That’s why they earned a $0 Indirect Commission.
So you can fix this by changing or removing the Rank for the Nicsport affiliate.
I also noticed that you have all of your Ranks set to Level Mode, but you have no requirement set to earn any of those Ranks. If you don’t want them to earn the Rank, change these to Category Mode, and you can manually assign these Ranks to your affiliates as needed.
Once you’ve made these changes, please test and let me know how it works for you.

I see your last test (Order # 3949), and this time, the $0 amount was applied to Level 2, not Level 1. Commissions for Level 0 (Direct), and Level 1 were created normally.
I see why this happened. Because you have 0% set for the Indirect Rate, and for Level 1 of the Per-Level Rates. Because the Nicsport affiliate did not have a Rank at the time of the test, the Indirect Rate set in the MLM tab of the AffiliateWP setting was applied.
You need to set the Indirect Referral Rate to a number higher than 0, to ensure that those without a Rank can earn Indirect Commissions,
Does that make sense?
