Is there a way to activate this plugin for a Woocommerce – Single Product (Virtual, monthly Membership, without the Woocommerce Subscription plugin)?
Thanks

Hi there,
Affiliate Sign Up Products does work with just WooCommerce by itself. However, if you want to use the Subscription Synching feature with the WooCommerce integration, yes, you do need to use WooCommerce Subscriptions.
The other Sign Up Product features will still work without WC Subscriptions though.

Thanks for quick reply..
So we do not use WC Subscritions plugin, only the WC Membership plugin. Reason is is because the cart payment is cryptocurrencies (recurring/subscription is not available to process.. so the member needs to maually renew monthly membership)
We want our affiliates to maintain an active membership to keep their their affiliate account active to continue receiving referral commissions. Its up to the members to manually renew their membership each month..
We have the Sign Up Product plugin enabled but I don’t see the “Paid Affiliate” label? Where does this display? In the user Account? Or in the Admin dashboard (Woo Orders, AffiliateWP area)?
Just trying to figure out before paying affiliate commissions how to distinguish the active Paid members vs the members that have expired membership..
Thank you and have a great day.

Hi RJ,
Sorry for the delay on this, I didn’t receive the notification for your reply.
To answer your question, the Paid Affiliate label appears in the Edit Affiliate screen (Affiliates > Affiliates > Edit). In the next update, I’m going to add a Paid Affiliate column to the Affiliates list (In WP Admin), that will show whether or not they are a Paid Affiliate.
The syncing feature connects their Affiliate Status to their Subscription Status, so when their Subscription Status changes to Expired, Cancelled, etc., their Affiliate Status automatically changes to Inactive. Then, when they renew, or purchase a new Subscription, their Affiliate Status updates to Active again.
This is why, the only way to use the Syncing feature with WooCommerce Memberships is to build a custom WC Memberships integration for Affiliate Sign Up Products. The WooCommerce integration is currently built with code specific to the WC Subscriptions plugin to make the status syncing possible.
As I mentioned in our previous email, our development schedule is quite full right now. How soon would you need to implement this new integration feature? I know you need this, so we may be able to squeeze your project in, some time in Mid-late November.
