    Hello —

    We just bought your product, Order ID#4858, and it never let us download it. It immediately shows the following screen:

    I apologize for the inconvenience. This is a new bug in our system that we have just been made aware of.

    I’m in the process of implementing a permanent solution, but for now, I’ll send you the plugin files manually to you email address on file.

    Thank you! I found it in my spam folder.

    When I went to activate my key it says: Connection failed to the License Key API server. Try again later.

    It might just be a temporary thing. But I thought I’d bring it to your attention in case it’s not.

    I checked this morning and I’m still get the error: “Connection failed to the License Key API server. Try again later.”

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Sage,

    Sometimes it does take 2 attempts to activate the license. Did you try to activate it again, right away?

    Also, do you have any wordpress security plugins active on your site, like iThemes security? If so, try deactivating it temporarily, and then activate your license. Once your license is active, you can re-activate your security plugin. Sometimes, these security plugins block the outgoing and incoming requests for the license activation from reaching our servers and vice versa.

    The system is showing that your license is active now. Is it reflecting the same on your end? And if so, did you have to disable any of your plugins to activate your license?

    Hi all,

    I’m not sure if the last message from @martyhale means that it’s not working on your end.

    But I’ve tried many things on my end.

    I don’t have security plugins. I deactivated my cashing tool just in case.

    I tried to deactivate it both on my end and on your site. I deleted sagerock.com from my account here on this site.

    I then tried to re-register my site on my end. It shows that it’s connected here. But not on my site.

    Do you think it’s something on my end or yours?

    This is the full error I’m getting when I try to register the api:
    The API Key could not be deactivated. Use the API Key Deactivation tab to manually deactivate the API Key before activating a new API Key.

    Connection failed to the License Key API server. Try again later.

    I cannot get the plugin files that I purchased. I was told they were emailed, but they have not been emailed. I requested again with no response. This is frustrating.

    I emailed the files to you at 4:42PM EST on the 29th. Did you try checking your spam folder?

    @DeAngelo, I’m sending you the plugin files via email to your address on file now.

    @Sage, I’m not entirely sure if the issue is on your end or not at this point. However, when I test activating the license in my testing environment (Which is live), I am able to activate and deactivate the license. I’m working with the developer of the licensing system to find the source of this download and activation issue now.

    Again, I apologize for the inconvenience guys. We’re actively working on a solution, and there’s no need to worry. We’re going to make sure that you receive the plugins that you’ve purchased, and you can go ahead and start setting up and using your plugins while we work out this licensing issue. The license doesn’t affect your ability to use our plugins.

    I’ve sent the files to the address starting with jen 3 times, and I’ve just sent them to the address beginning with marty once. Since you are receiving my emails without the files, if you don’t receive any of my recent emails with the file attachments, let me know, and I’ll email you a quick download link via a file transfer service.

    Yes, that’s very strange indeed. Maybe there’s something preventing the emails from going through on your end, due to the file attachments.

    But as promised, I’ve sent a download link for the plugins that you purchased (AffiliateWP MLM, AffiliateWP Performance Bonuses, and AffiliateWP Ranks) to both of the email addresses you’ve provided. All three of these plugins are included in the one zip folder labeled “AffiliateWP Add-ons”

    Please respond to confirm that you received the email, and were able to download the files.

    I’m still having the same issue.

    I received the API Key and API e-mail and tried using them to activate. I get the following response: Invalid API License Key. Login to your My Account page to find a valid API License Key. Tried activating it twice, and it returns the same message.

    When I try to download from My Account I keep getting the Access Denied message. Is the platform functional without being activated?

    Hi Jorge,

    Yes, you can setup and use our plugins without activating your license. The license only grants you access to updates and support.

    Both of those issues are bugs in the licensing system, and we’re working with the licensing system’s developer, as well as our hosting company to get this resolved.

    Hi everyone,

    I have another update on this licensing issue. According to our tests, the plugin Download Links are now working. So from here on, you should have no problem downloading your plugin files from the Downloads tab of your account page.

    We are now in the process of making the final necessary adjustments to ensure that the license activation/deactivation system is fully operational.
