I’m having the same issue as the other post marked resolved: https://propluginmarketplace.com/topic/buyers-dont-get-registrated-as-affiliate/
I have a WooCommerce simple subscription product and under AffiliateWP Affiliate Sign Up Products I have Assign Paid Affiliate enabled. In Affiliates > Settings > Sign Up Products under Integration WooCommerce is enabled, Sync Subscription is enabled, Sync Subscription Integration is set to WooCommerce and Owned Product Commissions is disabled.
I’m using version 1.02 of Affiliate Sign Up Products. I tried deactivating Affiliate Sign Up Products then re-activating it as suggested in the other post. I tried purchasing a referred buyer, as a non-referred buyer and also tried using a non-subscription product instead but all tests have resulted in a new affiliate not being registered.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks,

Hi Jeremy,
Sign Up Products will only create the affiliate account for the affiliate, when the WooCommerce order has beeen marked Complete.
During your test purchases of the Affiliate Sign Up Product, did you ever mark the order Complete? It may just be that you have a bunch of test orders that are still in the Processing Status. If so, once you change them to Complete, you’ll see those new affiliates in the system.

Yes, you are right. Orders were Processing. When I change them to Completed it adds the new affiliates.
In this particular case they are buying a subscription product which includes an initial sign up fee for a starter kit then monthly recurring tech fee in order to be an affiliate. Can the affiliate account creation be tied to the subscription status being Active instead of the order status? I see the subscription status is Active when the order status is Processing.
Or is there a way to change this so it will create the affiliate account when the order status is Processing?
The starter kit requires shipping so the order status will remain in Processing until the order is shipped. I need the affiliate account to be added to the system when they purchase the starter kit/tech fee subscription and the order status is Processing (and subscription is Active). After the order is shipped the order status will be changed to Completed, but this could be a few days after the affiliate has purchased the starter kit. We want them to be able to start sharing their referral link right after purchasing the starter kit.
Thanks,

Hi Jeremy,
I’m glad to hear that it’s working for you as well.
I see what you mean. I think it will be best for me to add a setting that will allow you to create the affiliate account for processing/pending orders as well.
I’m going to update the plugin to include this, and I’ll follow up with you soon.

That would be great, thanks!
I’m not sure how you plan to implement it, but I would want to make sure the status is Processing (after the payment was successful) or Completed and not Pending Payment. A setting that lets you choose which order statuses allow creation of the affiliate account would be great.
Thanks again.

Hey Jeremy, I have an update.
I did consider allowing you to choose which statuses in which you’d like to allow the affiliate account creation, but this will not work for all integrations, so I’m adding a simple setting that can apply to them all.
I should have it finished and ready for you to test soon.

Okay, Affiliate Sign Up Products version 1.0.3 is now available for download from the Downloads tab of your account area:
propluginmarketplace.com/my-account
Be sure to enable the setting to Allow Processing. And please test it out, and let me know how it works for you.

Awesome news. Thanks for bringing this up. I think this is a good improvement to the plugin going forward.
