    level 1: 1%
    level 2: 1%
    level 3: 2%
    level 4: 3%
    level 5: 5%

but all affiliate rates are 0% why is this?

The Direct Referral Rate (The rate used when an affiliate refers a sale themselves) is set in Affiliates > Settings > General. That’s the amount listed in your screenshot of the Affiliates list in WP Admin.

The Per-Level Rates only apply to Indirect Referrals (Commissions paid to the Upline Parent Affiliates when one of their Sub Affiliates refers a sale).

Please take a look at the MLM Documentation for an in-depth explanation of how these settings work:

I have a question (refer to the screenshot13.png) if test4 refers 1 purchase and test5 refers another purchase will I get 2 level 5 commissions or 1 level 4 commission and 1 level 5 commission?

and also I have integrated lifetime commissions does this mean that all referred affiliates that purchases anything in the future will give me a commission rate based on my level?

the commission rates for each level:

    level 1: 1%
    level 2: 1%
    level 3: 2%
    level 4: 3%
    level 5: 5%

You will receive 1 Indirect Commission for Level 4 and 1 Indirect Commission for Level 5.

Yes, MLM integrates with Lifetime Commissions. In Affiliates > Settings > Integrtions, enable the Sync Lifetime Affiliate setting. I recommend using the Parent as Lifetime Affiliate option.

And yes, the Indirect Commission rates set Per-Level will apply for all future sales. Just make sure that you do not enable the Lifetime Commissions Rate, as this will override your Indirect Rates (Per-Level).

In your message, you mentioned that you are unable to generate any commissions at all. Which of the supported integrations are you using (WooCommerce, Paid Memberships Pro, etc.)?

MLM can only generate Indirect Commissions if the core AffiliateWP plugin creates the Direct Commission. So make sure that you have the integrations enabled in Affiliates > Settings > General and Affiliates > Settings > MLM.

And what commission rate do you have set in Affiliates > Settings > General (The Direct Rate)?

I am using woocomerce for the intergration and I have a plugin called affiliate rank which makes it so that having (x) amount of sub affiliate will increase the commission percent

this is the same as the indirect rates:
    level 1: 1%
    level 2: 1%
    level 3: 2%
    level 4: 3%
    level 5: 5%

but the problem is that I have set everything up and I see that the downline is working and the affiliate rank is set, the lifetime is also set but when I try to buy something even without the link wouldnt lifetime commision make it so that any future purchase give me commision? there is no commision at all

In Affiliates > Settings > Integrations, do you have the Lifetime Affiliate Sync feature enabled? If not, please set this to Parent as Lifetime Affiliate. It will ensure that after the affiliate/customer is referred initially, they will be the Lifetime Customer (And Sub Affiliate) of the person that referred them (The Parent Affiliate).

Understand that the affiliate must actually refer the customer/affiliate first, whether it’s using a Referral Link, or Affiliate Coupon. This is what will trigger the assignment of the Lifetime Customer.

Are you testing using referral links?

Another thing that you can do for your next test, is press the Sync All button in the Integrations Tab. After you’ve enabled the Parent as Lifetime Affiliate option, press that button and all future purchases made or referred by the Sub Affiliates will generate a commission for the Parent Affiliates as well.

Let me know how it works after these changes.

I have set all this up and will test it out but I need to ask you something about the lifetime commision: will by sub affiliates also generate me money for life because I techancally refered them.

Yes, MLM integrates with Lifetime Commisisons so that, if Affiliate A refers Affiliate B (A Direct Referral), Affiliate A will earn a Direct Commission from Affiliate B’s Purchases. When Affiliate B refers Affiliate C, Affiliate A earns an Indirect Commission when Affiliate C makes a Purchase, and Affiliate B earns the Direct Commission.

Lifetime Commissions ensures that whenever a customer/affiliate is referred by an affiliate, that affiliate receives credit for all future purchases. MLM just applies this to Sub Affiliates as well.
